What is ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)? ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. A-myo-trophic comes from the Greek language. "A" means no. "Myo" refers to muscle, and "Trophic" means nourishment – "No muscle nourishment."
What is Reiki? Reiki is Universal Life Force. During a Reiki treatment, the practitioner performs a "laying on of hands" and channels universal energy into the client. There are no paid scientific studies or trials on the effects of Reiki healing in ALS patients. However, there are individual testimonials of improvement in patients with ALS who have undergone this type of treatment.
Testimonies of the effects on Reiki and ALS include but not limited to:
Increased oxygen saturation
Regained significant muscle strength including regaining the ability to walk.
Less coughing spasms
Better sleep
A decrease in depression and anxiety

In general, Reiki healing is a wonderful tool for any and all, so someone who is struggling with a debilitating condition such as Lou Gehrig's Disease, would more than likely highly benefit from regular Reiki treatments.
The month of May is ALS awareness month so here at In One's Element, we are recognizing those suffering from this disease and offering a 25% discount on all treatments. In One's Element does not make promises of cures or even to lessen symptoms. We offer a large discount so that the individual can give Reiki healing a try, and if it brings a decrease in symptoms or even just a little peace by lessening anxiety, then we will continue to honor the discounted price moving forward. As one man with ALS said, "desperate times call for desperate measures". Try it out. If it works, great! If you'd like to add Reiki into your ALS routine and see if it brings comfort or relief, reach out to us directly through our website, or at info@inoneselement.org, or call 928-925-0519.
Blessings,
Jennifer

My first symptoms of ALS occurred in 2009, but was diagnosed in 2011. I had severe symptoms ranging from shortness of breath, balance problems, couldn't walk without a walker or a power chair, i had difficulty swallowing and fatigue. I was given medications which helped but only for a short burst of time, then i decided to try alternative measures and began on ALS Formula treatment from Herbal Health Point, It has made a tremendous difference for me (Visit ww w. herbalhealthpoint.c om). I had improved walking balance, increased appetite, muscle strength, improved eyesight and others.
